The African Mathematical Union Commission on the History of
Mathematics in Africa (AMUCHMA) has established a web page, by the help
of Professor Scott Williams, Mathematics Department, State University of New
York at Buffalo. The address is

The web page includes the 19 issues of the AMUCHMA-Newsletter published so far.
The Commission internationale pour l'étude et l'amélioration de
l'ensignement des mathématiques (CIEAEM) elected new officers of the
Commission as of July 1997. They are
