How To Begin
  • To begin using Excel

    • 1. Click on the
    start.gif (1098 bytes)

    2. Click on
    programs.gif (1284 bytes)

    3. Start

    4. The Microsoft Excel window appears, displaying a blank spreadsheet

  • When you start Excel, a blank spreadsheet appears. It has rows that are numbered and columns that follow the alphabet.  You can type into this document.
  • If you are using Excel for the first time, the Office Assistant welcome will appear.  To Start using Excel, click the option in the Assistant window.
