Paragraphs in Word

The idea of paragraphs is
important in Word because certain types of formatting apply to individual paragraphs. In
Word, you end one paragraph and start a new one by pressing the Enter
key. Word will insert a new, blank line and position the cursor at the beginning of the
new line.
Each paragraph will take on the formatting and style of the previous paragraph.
Paragraphs can be aligned in four ways.
- Left alignment
 (default)
- Right alignment
- Center
 OR
- Justified alignment
