How To Change Margins

Follow the steps below:
  1. To change the margins for the entire document click prnt_prvw.JPG (3552 bytes).
  2. Position the mouse over the margin you want to change ( arrow_ms.jpg (2468 bytes) changes to arrow_h.jpg (2342 bytes) or arrow_v.jpg (2355 bytes)).
  3. Drag the margin to new location. A line indicates the new location.
  • Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each margin you want to change.
  • To close the Print Preview, click close2.jpg (2960 bytes).
  • If the ruler is not displayed, click .
  • To view the exact measurement of a margin, perform step 2 then press and hold down Alt on the keyboard as you perform step 3.

How can I change margins for just part of my document? If you want to change the left and right margins for only part of your document, change the indetation of paragraphs. Forgot how to indent paragraphs? Refresh your memory, here.
