Many ISPs provide more than just the ability to connect to the Internet.  Some of the extras that you may want to compare include:

• email space - How much room do they provide for your email on their server?
• web page space - How much room do they provide for your web pages on their server?   Do they provide anything that assists in the development of web pages such as Front Page extensions or cgi script?
• newsgroups - What newsgroups can you access from their servers.  How long do articles stay on the newsgroup?
