Guides to the Literature

3c5.jpg (17473 bytes) Guides to the literature (sometimes called bibliographies or research guides) provide a list of sources on a subject.
These sources may be arranged by type of material (encyclopedias, handbooks, manuals, directories, periodicals, databases, etc.) or by specific topics within a subject area. They often give helpful hints on the research process.
