Biased Author Simulation

An argument is biased when it is based on suspect reasons or assumptions.  Often bias enters into claims about highly emotional topics.  Although emotion-driven opinions can certainly be a part of argument, the writers or speakers will seem much reasonable if they are self-reflexive; that is, if they admit to and examine their own biases.
