One-Dimensional Disordered Systems and Scattering Theory V. Kostrykin and R. Schrader
Methods from scattering theory are applied to one dimensional disordered systems. This approach (i) gives a relation between the scattering phase shift and the integrated density of states, (ii) provides a very natural connection with random matrix theory and allows to study the special energies, where the transmission probability does not vanish in the infinite length limit. Keywords: scattering theory, disordered systems
