LIBRES: Library and Information Science Research Electronic Journal

ISSN 1058-6768
March, 1998

Bi-annual
Volume 8, Issue 1

The recent placement of a Call for Papers on some of the Listservs has lead to emails of interest from our information colleagues. It is hoped that the promises of papers do come to fruition in future editions. Please think about a contribution and encourage your colleagues to do likewise.

It is timely for me to remind you that the content of LIBRES does revolve around library and information science research and that because of this I have had to return some copy as unsuitable to the journal.

You will note that the list of Associate Editors is shrinking. I have made numerous attempts in broadcast emails to contact a number who have appeared in the past on this list. The emails have bounced time and again or have not been answered. Before deleting names, I have made efforts to locate relevant home pages and new email addresses. Should you be one such colleague and have changed your email address and we have not picked this up, please email me and let me know so that I can rectify the situation.

Kerry Smith
Editor-in-Chief
March 1998
