Errors in Formulas
Errors in formulas are often the result of typing mistakes, calculations of invalid data, the wrong formatting, or reference to an invalid cell. You can correct an error by editing the cell containing the error.
Error Meaning
##### The column is too narrow to display the result of the calculation. To fix change the width of the column

#DIV/0!
Divides a number by zero. In Excel this is invalid. NOTE: A blank cell is considered zero.

#NAME?
The formula contains a function name or cell reference Excel does not recognize.

#VALUE!
The formula refers to a cell that Excel cannot use in a calculation.

#REF!
The formula refers to a cell that is invalid.
