Abstract In this Dissertation cattle is examinated by milkacetone detection to see early ketosis. Prevalence of ketosis, influence of age, influence of season, influence of lactating state, interaction with milk contends and with other illnesses is shown. Finally there is a look at the temporal progress of ketosis.
